Much that is taught in schools, colleges and universities, published in text-books, encyclopœdias and other standard works of reference, and generally taken for granted by editors and presenters of radio and television debates, discussions and documentaries is seriously mistaken - not only because it is contradicted by the evidence of known facts, but as a result of the fundamentally and increasingly inadequate foundations on which, throughout the course of the last 12,000 years, human culture and civilization have been established.
Slowly but surely that truth is nowadays increasingly acknowledged but, more often than not, the immediate result would appear to be an increase in confusion and uncertainty, rather than any widespread achievement of enlightenment. The reasons for this are already obvious; it is, however, even more obvious that only relatively few individuals are open-hearted and mentally agile enough to undertake that sometimes difficult and always self-challenging task of personal and community transformation without which authentic peace and freedom may never be enjoyed.
In developing the Neith Network Library on-line I have made no more than an occasional and little more than token attempt to correct the well nigh countless mistakes of the majority of other currently available sources of information. Learning is a self-correcting process. Although my own ignorance is vast, much that I now know is, I both feel and know, less incorrect and much more validly educational and uplifting than its opposite. I hope that in the not too distant future others, far more qualified than I, will also make their own the attitude, approach and method that the contents of these websites already collectively illustrate - and that, indeed, is my primary purpose in publishing and arranging them as I have now done.
According to BERNARD LEVIN, Hannibal's Footsteps (Sceptre paperback, 1987), p.86:

To quote from BARBARA HAND CLOW's Catastrophobia (Bear & Company, 2001) - pp. 82, 2, 11 & 56:
"We've been led by fools with superiority complexes who aim to rule the world by controlling access to the past…"
"A great cataclysm occurred in 9500 [or 9600] B.C… Lost memory represents the 85% of our brains or the 97% of our DNA that scientists say we do not use… but [which], I suspect, is periodically stimulated by cosmic forces."
"Prophets, artists, schizophrenics, and channels are bicameral, so this process of becoming superconscious may be why the times we are living in are intense and chaotic. Instead of supporting the great perceptual activation, doctors prescribe mood-altering drugs to shut people down. As J. BERNARD DELAIR writes in his Foreword:
"Books on the subject of world catastrophes have ranged from considerations of the believedly traumatic termination of the reign of the dinosaurs at the end of the Cretaceous times about 65 million years ago, to that which evidently brought about the so-called Pleistocene Ice Age to an abrupt close approximately 11,500 [or 11,600] years ago, when, in the opinion of some, the legendary island of Atlantis was cataclysmically swallowed by the sea…
Catastrophobia traces the evolution of human psychology during the past 15,000 years or so… Hydras, griffins, dragons, and Medusas, the world encircling serpents and vast 'monsters' of popular mythology actually symbolized cosmic phenomena. Catastrophobia relates this cosmic event to a coincidental change in Earth's axial tilt and the inception of the calendrical precession of the equinoxes - an element of great importance for Holocene Man… The destruction of an ancient equable world regime, the so-called Golden Age of precataclysmic days, gave rise among the survivors to the notion that its loss was, along with the coeval Noachian Deluge or Great Flood, a vengeful god's punishment of a sinful antediluvian humanity…"
BARBARA HAND CLOW (op. cit., p.1) explains:
"A great cataclysm occurred
only 11,500 years ago, which geology calls the late Pleistocene Extinctions and theologians call the Flood… This was followed by massive crustal adjustments and flooding for thousands of years, while human cultures struggled for survival… Because this horrible trauma has not been processed, many of us are afflicted with catastrophobia, an intense fear of catastrophes… Crippled by collective fear from the past earth changes — the racial memory of this geological paroxysm — our surface minds are filled with floating images of disaster, guilt, and suffering. We project these painful thoughts out of our inner minds, which creates a coming apocalypse as a self-fulfilling prophecy. However, it already happened! Because few people know this, our attention is riveted when preachers and New Age prophets make predictions, which sound true because they resonate with these disassociated inner images."
Thanks to KURT SCHILDMANN's decipherment of the Indus Valley script, those who wish may now study for themselves some first-hand reports of human life as it flourished on Earth about that time.
The publications of ZECHARIA SITCHIN have also been for me valuable sources of information about the Great Flood.
Although I continue to agree with JOSEPH S. ELLUL that what other researchers have identified as the Black Sea Flood of 5,600 B.C. was, in fact, a much more extensive inundation, triggered by a collapse of the near-Gibraltar land-bridge that had previously there linked Africa and Europe, and resulting in the flooding of most of today's European land-mass from Spain to half-way across Russia, I now believe that those are seriously mistaken who imagine Noah's Flood wasn't, in fact, much worse than that. What happened in 9,600 B.C. was that the Earth was almost entirely destroyed.
As BARBARA HAND CLOW (op. cit., pp.13-14) reports:
"In D. S. ALLAN & J. B. DELAIR's Cataclysm! Compelling Evidence of a Cosmic Catastrophe in 9500 B.C. (Bear & Company, 1997), Earth's axis was pulled into a tilt by fragments of a supernova in the Vela star system that blasted into our solar system… Before then Earth's axis was vertical, and we lived in the Golden Age." As Earth orbits the Sun today, she notes (ibid., p.12), "it turns on its axis tilted at an angle about 23½ degrees from the true vertical and wobbles some." The resulting and well known Precession of the Equinoxes, Barbara suggests, only "actually began 11,500 years ago, because some ancient texts suggest that long ago the stars moved through the night skies in unchanging circles." The four seasons of the year are, on this view, only about 11,600 years old. Cf. Another disaster in the Mediterranean area occurred in about 1,500 B.C. when (as described and discussed by A. G. GALANOPOULOS & EDWARD BACON in Atlantis - The Truth behind the Legend, Nelson, 1969) a major volcanic eruption on the island of Santorin (between Therasia and Thera) destroyed the Minoan civilization, the remains of which (on the island of Crete, some 50 miles further South) were later excavated by Sir Arthur Evans (1851-1941).
The events of the Biblical Exodus would appear to belong to that time.
Dendrochronological evidence indicates that still more recently, during a cosmic winter lasting from 535 to 542 A.D., a mini-comet, fire-ball or bolide, in association, as Dr. VICTOR CUBE has explained (cf. ADRIAN GILBERT, ALAN WILSON & BARAM BLACKETT, The Holy Kingdom, Corgi Books, 1999, pp. 349-57), with a pervasive and heavier-then-air cloud of poisonous gas, rendered Britain's forests far less extensive than they had previously been, as widespread conflagration occurred, shock waves and firestorms destroyed many buildings, the indigenous population was decimated, and subsequent Saxon invasion was thereby greatly facilitated.
This, among other things, explains why few nowadays remember that Celtic Christianity largely suppressed British Christianity and culture, just as Roman Christianity later suppressed Celtic Christianity and culture.
Less than a century ago, "on June 30 1908, at seventeen minutes and eleven seconds after midnight GMT, an explosion of monumental proportions occurred over an area near the Podkamennaya Tunguska River (60º 55' N; 101º 57' E) in Siberia. The blast of the explosion had been visible from about 500 miles away from its epicentre and distant eye witnesses had seen a fireball which lit up their horizon, felt the ground tremble and experienced hot winds strong enough to blow people over and shake buildings. The vibrations from this gigantic explosion were felt in America, while in England scientific instruments registered two consecutive shockwaves which travelled full circle around the planet…" (MARY BENNETT & DAVID S. PERCY, Dark Moon - Apollo and the Whistle-Blowers, London: Aulis Publishers, 1999, pp. 237-8.)
Available evidence these authors refer to suggests that the seldom mentioned Soviet cosmonaut Pavel Belyayev, whose official grave is in Moscow's prestigious Novodevichy Cemetery but whose mortal remains may still be somewhere on the Moon, is the only human being who has actually been there, since nobody has so far managed to work out how adequately to protect astronauts from the radiation effects of the Van Allen belts that surround our Earth.
Meanwhile, "there have been numerous American space-driven series on the UK networks… each conveying a different message about ET and all reflecting paranoia as to the viability of communication with any other race of self-aware life - unless one has a defensive weapon, or a whole space fleet near at hand… Much of the unrest on this planet… stems in fact from populations who are tired of being cheated, lied to and treated as unworthy of consideration by their own leaders…" (Ibid., pp. 453-4.)
The United States' so called Apollo Missions were no more than test-flights around the Earth which, for public relations' purposes, were timed to coincide with satellite-television transmissions of fictional Moon-related events filmed and recorded beforehand in a studio somewhere in America.
This scandalous outrage, apparently only one aspect of an intricate and elaborate internationally planned, orchestrated and, throughout the course of most of the twentieth century deliberately concealed, German, Soviet and American scientists' and government officials' plot is claimed to have been aided and abetted by various associates of different nationalities - and in the present context serves to highlight the extent to which catastrophobia afflicts us all.
BENNETT & PERCY's book (pp. 428-9 & 443) also partly explains the rather puzzling and already mentioned wobbling of planet Earth:
"The barcycentre, or actual centre of gravity of the Earth/Moon system, lies off-centre within the Earth, approximately 2,918 miles/4,700 kms from the Earth's centre. This produces an effect known as 'off-centre rotation'.…"
BARBARA HAND CLOW speculates (op. cit., p.38) that during the cataclysm of 9,500 B.C. the entire solar system vibrated "like a bell", basing herself on the fact that, according to astronomer ALFRED K. MANN, during a mere 12 seconds in 1987, Supernova 1987A "generated an amount of power in the form of neutrinos that dwarfed all power production on Earth by about 34 powers of 10." She also refers (pp.42-44) to J. B. DELAIR's conviction that our Earth's present tectonic plates all "formed more or less simultaneously and suddenly under violent conditions" - as the story of Humpty Dumpty may help us remember.
As both ALLAN & DELAIR and GUY BERTHAULT have independently argued, and as J. D. SOLOMON's findings at Olduvai had earlier already suggested to him, although "it is extremely difficult to imagine the crust of Earth being pressed, rolled, liquefied, upthrusted/downthrusted, or pushed up sideways in an instant, and it is hard to know with sea levels whether they change because the land raised or lowered,… considering the magnitude of the devastation 11,500 years ago, crustal shifting and global flooding is the most likely mechanism… Most of Earth's present topography is only 11,500 years old."
BARBARA HAND CLOW sums things up for us (p. 47):"Before the axial tilt, during the Golden Age, there was little seasonality, and through the year the stars revolved in a tholiform manner — always on the same horizontal plane as Earth's spin. The stars rose and set in the same location on the horizon, making a perfect circle around the vertical celestial poles in a day. With no axial tilt, there would have been no equinoxes or solstices, and this alteration in the sky explains humanity's virtual obsession with the sky after 9,500 B.C."
In his article "Planet in Crisis" (in Chronology and Catastrophism Review, 2, 1997, pp.6-9) J. B. DELAIR provides more details:
"The most immediately striking image of the Earth is that it rotates on an axis inclined at 23½ degrees from the vertical. Its orbit is not a perfect circle and it is not strictly concentric with the Sun… Earth's axis of rotation does not coincide with its magnetic axis. This is also apparently connected with Earth's variable rotation, which fluctuates over a 10-year period.
While following its orbit, Earth also oscillates cyclically: the 'Chandler Wobble,' with a cycle of 14 months. This wobble is also associated with viscosity at the Earth's Core, so it is an intimate part of Earth's present internal mechanism.
Because the Earth ought, theoretically, to rotate on a vertical axis and may actually have done so in the geologically recent past, these details suggest a planet which, in not very remote times, has been seriously disturbed…"
RAND & ROSE FLEM-ATH 's When The Sky Fell - In Search of Atlantis (Orion paperback, 1995, pp. 83-7) suggests that "prior to 91,600 B.C. the Earth's crust was situated in such a way that Canada's Yukon Territory stood at the North Pole… From 91,600 B.C. to 50,600 B.C. the Arctic Circle contained much of Europe and all of Greenland… Between 50,600 and 9,600 B.C. the Arctic Circle lay over Hudson Bay [and] North America felt the grip of the Arctic Circle… Lesser Antarctica, like Siberia, Beringia, and Alaska, was ice-free except in the high mountains… An earth crust displacement 11,600 years ago created the current placement of the Arctic and Antarctic circles."
Another important and in my view well nigh indispensable book is Dr PETER PLICHTA's God's Secret Formula - Deciphering the Riddle of the
Universe and the Prime Number Code (ISBN 1-86204-014-1: Element
Books, Shaftesbury, U.K. - Rockport, U.S.A. - Milton, Australia,
1997, pp. 165 & 208) which, in the mind of its author: "augurs a revolution for our primary schools. Nothing less than the atomic model and the chemical elements themselves will in future be their godfathers when children develop a relationship to numbers. Our children have the opportunity of being the first generation to be able to fully appreciate the meaning in at least one Bible quotation - 'But THOU hast arranged all things by measure and number and weight.' (Wisdom 11:20)"
In autumn 1994 Doctors Peter Pichta & Klaus Kunkel registered patents for "a radically novel type of rocket engine" and for "a rocket long-distance aircraft" capable of flying more than 30 miles high at speeds of 3,000-5,000 m.p.h.
According to Plichta: “The infinite numbers by virtue of their prime number structure
contain not only a numeric æsthetic, but are also the key to
the material world and a medium of information to infinity.” "Electrons and protons… did not emerge from some other particles at some time in the past but instead exist because of the nature of infinity." (p. 130).
"The Prime Number Cross is... not a human invention. It is in fact a model of the construction plan with which infinity was made finite in the structure of atoms... G-d arranged the world simply...All higher mathematics with its enormous variety and complexity must actually be nothing less than a veneer over the prime numbers... Three-dimensional gas-filled space is a reciprocal numerical space... a geometric realization of the reversal of four-dimensional, empty, infinite space as ordered by prime numbers." (pp. 174-5, 185.)
In the opinion of Fr. Rupert Lay, S.J., Dr. Plichta's "scientific research constitutes the first fundamental statement ever made on our concept of the physical world: everything before Plichta - from Newton to Einstein - has only been theory.”
Such serious shortcomings in Newton and Einstein still, I suspect, detract considerably from the value of ERVIN LASZLO's well intentioned 3rd Millennium - The Challenge and the Vision: The Club of Budapest Report on Creative Paths of Human Evolution, with a Foreword by Sir PETER USTINOV (Gaia Books, 1997).
